K. Beth O'Donnell, Vice President, Acquisitions & Development

Since joining ERV in June 2005, Ms. O'Donnell has handled the implementation of nearly $100 million in development projects, including a 40-unit waterfront condominium development on the east side of Providence, and a 230-unit mixed-use redevelopment initiative along the waterfront in East Providence. Her responsibilities include permitting, marketing, and financial and project management. Ms. O'Donnell also contributes to the analysis and financing of new acquisitions, having already managed and closed on $135 million worth of commercial real estate.

 

As a summer associate with ERV in 2004, Ms. O'Donnell pitched right in on analysis and financing for the company’s initial acquisition portfolio, having arrived with more than eight years of varied experience across the public, private and nonprofit real estate sectors. From 2000 to 2003, Ms. O'Donnell contributed to over $50 million in coastal land acquisitions as Conservation Project Manager for the Peninsula Open Space Trust of the San Francisco Bay Area, the nation’s largest local land trust. Between 1999 and 1997, she served as Operations Manager for the New York City School Construction Authority, handling the entitlement process for all new schools and additions. And from 1997 to 1999, Ms. O'Donnell was a Planning Consultant at Frederick P. Clark Associates in Westchester County, New York, where she reviewed development plans and prepared environmental impact statements for large projects, including the Trump National Golf Course in Briarcliff Manor, New York.

 

Ms. O'Donnell holds an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley; a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and an A.B. in Environmental Studies from Brown University. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the American Planning Association (APA).
